Roland, Central track athletes place at Warner Twilight Meet

WARNER — Several Roland and Central track athletes placed in the Warner Twilight Meet, which took place Thursday.

Roland’s Halle Freeman won the high jump (4-6) to have the highest finish on the day for the Lady Rangers.

For the other Lady Rangers individually, Kalee Campbell was fifth (13-7.25) in the long jump, Brooklyn Halbauer was sixth (28.79 seconds) and Campbell was 21st (32.28) in the 200-meter dash, Julianna Trujillo was seventh (28-2.5) and Jestina Cantrell was 10th (26-3.5) in the shot put, Haven Freeman was eighth (13.2) and Mira Reagan was 10th (13.5) in the 100-meter dash, Lilly Medicine Bird was 10th (1:11.58), Maddie Whisenhunt was 18th (1:20.3) and Anna McElhaney was 20th (1:22) in the 400-meter dash, Cantrell was 12th (68-10) and Trujillo was 17th (63-11) in the discus and Abby Bower was 16th (3:22.96) and Hayleigh Wuest was 17th (3:44.42) in the 800-meter run.

As for Lady Ranger relay teams, the 400-meter relay team of Reagan, Hallbauer and both Freemans was third (52.31 seconds), while the same foursome finished ninth in the 800-meter relay (2:04.18).

As for Rangers individually, Dalton Crossno was runner-up (46-5.5), Logen Thomas (43-5.5) and Braxton Prewett was ninth (37-3.5) in the shot put, while D.J. Massey was second (58), Nate Criswell was third (5-6) and Ryder Blake tied for seventh (4-0) in the high jump. Roland had a 3-4 finish in the 100-meter hurdles as McElhaney was third (20.07 seconds) and Blake was fourth (22.4). Joseph Stone was fourth in the discus (115-9), Paul Johnson was fifth (11.47), Trevor Lasiter was 12th (11.65) and Lateevis Jones was 15th (11.93) in the 100-meter dash, Landon Killer was sixth in the 800-meter run (2:17.76), Uriah Phillips was sixth (18-8.5), Camren Hartt was 15th (148.5) and Asa Ulrich was 18th (14-2.5) in the long jump, Killer was seventh (5:22.92) and Kyle Bradley was 18th (6:55.49) in the 1,600-meter run, Jack Johnson was eighth (1:00.06), Killer was 12th (1:01.69) and Blake was 24th (1:07.73) in the 400-meter dash and Criswell was 14th in the 200-meter dash (26.1).

The Rangers had two relay teams place, all comprised of the same four runners. Jones, Lasiter, Phillips and Paul Johnson were runnersup in the 800-meter relay (1:37.76) and fourth in the 400-meter relay (44.91 seconds).

For the Tigers, Gavin Randolph was third (55.5 seconds) and Brycen Chandler-Eisman was 23rd (1:07.62) in the 400-meter dash, Goodson was fifth in the 800-meter run (2:12.31), Cole Holcomb was fifth (41-0), Tyler Busch was eighth (38-4) and Thomas Medford was 20th (30-10) in the shot put, Zachary Comer was seventh in the discus (104-8), Dillon Miller was 19th in the 100-meter dash (12.23 seconds).

As for Tiger relays, Cale Stewart, Goodson, Randolph and Miller were third in the 1,600-meter relay (3:45.62).

As for Lady Tigers individually, Jhaselyn Gonzalez was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (19.82 seconds), Koda Robbins was fifth (1:05.88), Paris Campbell was seventh (1:09.28) and Xhayla Mosby was 21st (1:28.62) in the 400-meter dash, Cambree Bair was seventh in the 800-meter run (2:54.02), Gonzalez was seventh (13-0), Jiles was ninth (11-9) and Ford was 14th (95.5) in the long jump, Ryleigh Pierce was 11th (7:06.32) and Rileigh Ford was 16th (7:58.71) in the 1,600-meter run, Keeley Poindexter was 16th (31.11), Jiles was 19th (31.88) and Polina Lukasa was 23rd (47.23) in the 200-meter dash, Poindexter was 18th in the discus (63-2), Ayrland Jiles was 19th (14.3), Kinly Lovell was 20th (14.35) and Neveah Pollard was 28th (15.65) in the 100-meter dash.

As for Lady Tiger relays, Avery Warner, Campbell, Gracie ThompsonandBairwere third in the 3,200-meter relay (11:12.95), Warner, Campbell, Robbins and Bair were fourth in the 800-meter relay (1:56.59). Warner, Campbell, Thompson and Robbins were fourth in the 1,600-meter relay (4:39.79), while Warner, Lovell, Thompson and Bair were sixth in the 400-meter relay (55.98 seconds).

The postseason has arrived for the local track teams on Saturday as regional meets will take place, where state berths are earned.

The Muldrow teams will be at the Class 4A Regional Meet at North Rock Creek High School north of Shawnee on Oklahoma State Highway 18, while the Roland squads will be at the Class 3A Regional Meet at North Rock Creek High School.

The Central tracksters will be at the Class 2A Regional Meet at Okemah with Gore and Vian.
