The Steel Horse Rally welcomes new event in 2024

The 2024 Steel Horse Rally roars back into downtown Fort Smith, Ark. on May 3 and 4.

The rally continues to grow and 2023 was the largest year ever, with an attendance of more than 210,000 with a local economic impact of more than $25 Million.

The charity motorcycle event “honors all who serve” and continues to help local charities and the community.

The Steel Horse Rally has partnered with the United States Marshals Museum for an exciting new event for the 2024 rally: The Steel Horse Rally Bikes and Badges antique motorcycle show will make its debut Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the US Marshals Museum, 789 Riverfront Drive in Fort Smith, Ark.

Thanks to Fort Smith Harley-Davidson’s commitment to the rally, admission is free to the museum on May 4 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Additionally, there will be no entry fee for motorcycles entered into the Steel Horse Rally Bikes and Badges antique motorcycle show.

This antique motor-cycle show is open to all antique motorcycles that are 25 years old or older.

The Bikes and Badges entry form and more information is available at marshalsmuseum.org Bikes and Badges will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on May 4, where you can cast your vote for your favorite antique motorcycle.

The People’s Choice Award winner will be announced Saturday after the Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade.

All participants of the Steel Horse Rally Bikes and Badges antique motorcycle show will be invited to ride near the front of the motorcycle parade that stages at 3 p.m. at Riverfront Park at 121 Riverfront Drive and begins at 4 p.m.

The 2024 Steel Horse Rally official charities are the Fort Smith Boys & Girls Clubs, the Buddy Smith Home for Veterans, and Arc for the River Valley.

When you get the Official 2024 Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup, 100 percent of the donations will go to these three charities.

The cups will be available for a minimum charitable donation of $5 at participating businesses in downtown Fort Smith, as well as the Steel Horse Rally Handle Bar.

The SHR Charity Cup and armband will allow those 21 or older to walk through the entire rally and downtown Entertainment District with an adult beverage.

The rally will see the return of several crowd favorites including the Cops and Cones Motorcycle Exhibition and the Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade.

The 2024 Cops and Cones hosted by the Fort Smith Police Department will be Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. at Garrison Ave. & 12th Street.

This year, the Steel Horse Strongman Showdown will be Saturday at the Glass Pavilion at 100 North B Street.

This event features professional and amateur men and women athletes lifting tremendous amounts of weight.

Athletes can advance to Regional Strongman Competitions with a win at this event.

There will be great live music and entertainment from the stage located in the parking lot across from First National Bank, at the corner of 6th and Garrison Ave.

“We are so excited about the return of the Steel Horse Rally to downtown Fort Smith. The addition of the Steel Horse Rally Bikes and Badges event gives us a unique opportunity to share the world-class US Marshals Museum with everyone,” said Steel Horse Rally president and founder Dennis Snow.
