PANAMA — Several Muldrow, Roland and Gans powerlifters placed in last week’s Iron Hog Classic, which took place Thursday for junior high lifters and Friday for high school lifters.

In the high school division for Muldrow, Jacob Gregory (157 pounds) and Devon Holland (220) were third, while Gans had three placers — Anthony Vasquez was fourth at 181 pounds, Tae’Shawn Achan was fifth at 168 and Wesley Thronell was ninth at 198.

Muldrow had three JH lifters place as Lyle Yancey was first and Aiden Blasdel runner-up at 105 pounds, while Elijah Lopez was third at 198.

For Roland, seven junior high lifters participated, with three placing in the top 10. Devon White was third at 132 pounds, Channing McKinney was seventh at 181 and Camden Vanderbush was ninth at 181.

Trevor Tankersley was 14th and Aiden Brown 26th at 132 pounds, Jayden Fancher was 12th at heavyweight and Austin Benham was 25th at 145.

The regional tournament for the Muldrow, Roland and Gans high school powerlifters will take place next weekend in Hartshorne.
