Muldrow – Funeral services for Jesus Munoz “Jesse” Marquez, 45, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Marquez was born on Feb. 26, 1978, in San Bernardino, Calif., to John Duran Marquez and Victoria (Munoz) Jara. He died on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in Muldrow.
He worked in construction and was of the Christian faith.
He married Karen Burrows on May 7, 2005, in Muldrow.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Marquez of the home; three sons, Anthony Marquez and fiancé, Lindsey Cox of Van Buren, Ark., Raymond Marquez and Taylor Horne of Tahlequah and Gauge Marquez and fiancé, Cierrah Rieswkie of Fayetteville, Ark.; two daughters, Ashley Marquez and Jazmine Marquez both of Muldrow; his mother, of Corona, Calif.; three brothers, John Duran Marquez of Muldrow, Humberto Jara of Beaumont, Calif., and Julian Daniel Jara of Corona; one sister, Valerie Marquez of Perris, Calif.; three half-sisters; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
