Roland – Graveside services for David Ray Massengale Sr., 64, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Massengale was born on Oct. 21, 1958, in Lindsay, Calif., to Jimmie Ray Massengale and Dorothy Mae (Seals) Massengale. He died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was a truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran. He married Mary Fields on Jan. 25, 1980, in Sallisaw. Survivors include his wife, Mary Massengale of the home; one daughter, Crystal Massengale of Hackett, Ark.; one son, Ray and Tina Massengale of Roland; one sister, Janet and Roger Deatherage of Missouri; one brother, Jerry and Patty Massengale of Pocola; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
