Roland – Graveside services for Norma Jewell (Mobley) Wilson, 94, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Wilson was born on Sept. 4, 1929, in Sallisaw to Hettie Matilda (Havener) Mobley and Thomas Flemins Mobley. She passed away on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was married to R.B. Wilson on June 24, 1950, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1989.
She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors are two daughters, Carol Ann Dieter of Muldrow and Sharon Wilson of Roland; one son, Ronald Gene “Ronnie” Wilson and Dorothy of Liberty; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one niece, Shirley Haile of Broken Arrow; and several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Annette Taylor; her parents; three brothers, Truman, Orville and Thomas Mobley; and two sisters, Leo Kennedy and Imogene Mc-Connell.
Pallbearers were Rodney Dean, Roger Dean, Jerry Herron, Randy Wilson, Stanley Herron and Dustin Herron.
