Muldrow – Celebration of Life service for Ronnie Gene Hamilton Vessell, 47, of Muldrow, was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023, at Lewis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Shawn Gard officiating. Interment was at Gans Cemetery.
Mr. Vessell was born on March 23, 1976, in Fort Smith, Ark. to mother, Gail Chandler Vessell and Bobby Vessell and father, Ronnie G. and Margaret Hamilton. He died on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.
He attended First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow. He enjoyed Western movies, wrestling, country music, bowling, shopping at Walmart, collecting pocket knives and especially eye glasses.
Survivors are his mother, Gail Vessell of the home; father, Ronnie G. Hamilton and Margaret of Van Buren, Ark.; sister, Chrystal Ryan and John of Muldrow; aunts and uncles, Sonja Godwin, Stevie Chandler and Sherri, Kathy Chandler, Brian Chandler, Melinda Johnson and Steve, and Peggy King and Tommy; along with numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Vessell; maternal grandparents, L.D. and Virginia Chandler; paternal grandparents, R.G. and Hazel Hamilton; uncle, Gary Don Chandler; and cousin, Jacob Godwin.
Pallbearers were Tristan Valenzuela, Trevor Northern, Brayden Smith, Jimmie Coker III, Treyton Northern, Sebastian Chandler, Oden Allen, Carsen Allen, Jason Godwin and DeSean Cruse.
Honorary pallbearers were Isaiah Chandler, Andy Northern and Ike Allen.
