Marvin Allen Petree

July 21, 1949 – July 30, 2023

Muldrow – Funeral services for Marvin Allen Petree, 74, of Vilonia, Ark., formerly of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Petree was born on July 21, 1949, in Sallisaw to Marion Edker Petree and Dovie Mae (Lewis) Petree. He died on Monday, July 30, 2023, in Conway, Ark.

He married Linda Lou Bailey on Jan. 2, 1970, in Sallisaw. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2018.

Survivors include one daughter, Kristina and Christopher Lewallen of Vilonia; one son, Jeffery and Myla Petree of Muldrow; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other family members and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.

Pallbearers were John Bradbury, Brad Ringgold, Richard Easter, Ryan Talbert, Deremy Bailey, Timothy Bailey, Darrell Wayne Bailey and Anthony Bailey.
