Muldrow – Memorial services for Leonard “Chang” Russell, 87, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Russell was born on Jan. 1, 1936, in Redland, to Jewell (Rogers) Russell and Luther S. Russell. He died on Friday, July 21, 2023, in Roland.
He was married to Donna Kay Breedlove on June 8, 1955 in Van Buren, Ark. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2023.
He was a retired business owner of C & C Amusement. Survivors are three daughters, Paula Strong of Muldrow, Karen Hawkins and Tom of Lake Tenkiller, and Kathy Jane Russell of Roland; three sons, Ronnie Russell, Wayne Russell and Kendall Russell, all of Muldrow; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; four sisters, Lola McGehee, Fern Middleton and Maxine Moore, all of Muldrow, and Donna Jones of Fort Smith, Ark.; three brothers, Garland Russell of Gore, Hayden Russell of Muldrow and Terry Russell of Tulsa; and several other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Daphine Forenback; and three brothers, Glen Russell, Cecil Russell and Richard “Sandy” Russell.
