Muldrow – Memorial services for Dakota Preston Scott Watie-Simmons, 25, of Muldrow, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1998, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Shawnon (Watie) Zelaya. He died on Friday, June 2, 2023, in Fort Smith.

He was a member of Kibler Baptist Church and enjoyed photography. He enjoyed being around his family.

Survivors include his siblings, Miguel Meza, Consuelo Ruttle, Johnathan Watie, Kimberly Byrd, Braxten Espinoza, Jose Byrd, Lucy Byrd and Hollie Watie; and other family members and friends.
