Firefighters respond

Roland firefighters responded to a structure fire south of Roland last Wednesday. A quick knockdown was achieved and the fire was contained to one bedroom. The Red Cross was contacted to provide the tenants with some temporary assistance. The department wishes to thank Muldrow and Liberty Fire Departments for responding through their Automatic Aid agreements.
