The Roland FFA Rangeland team placed first at the 75th Annual Connors State College Aggie Day held at Warner. Team members competed against students from across the state in the event. Team members are required to identify native and introduced grasses, forbs, legumes, and woodies. The also are required to evaluate fields for beef and quail production and make recommendations on management practices to meet a land owner’s objectives. Team members are Blaine Colwell, Brandie Reese, Graciee Wasson and Wyatt Harvell. Blane was also the second place individual and Graciee was the third placed individual. The team is advised by Myron Lockwood.
