Firefighters respond to blaze on Russell Street

The Roland Fire Department reported they were dispatched to Russell Street for a structure fire just before 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 29. Upon arriving, firefighters found the abandoned residence fully involved and it had reportedly already collapsed in on itself. The fire was extinguished with the help of the Muldrow and Liberty Fire Departments. The department said they would also like to thank the Town of Roland Utility Department for bringing a backhoe and pole saw to assist with extinguishing the fire. ROLAND FIRE DEPT.
