Roland Police and Fire Departments helped work an accident on Swon Road on Mayfield Mountain, last Wednesday afternoon. The road was reportedly shut down for several hours by Oklahoma Highway Patrol after a semi and another possible vehicle were involved in an accident. Authorities urged anyone trying to get to or from Liberty that day to take an alternate route or avoid the area all together due to slick spots.
